BREW charges are incurred by downloading applications (ringtones, games, etc.) to your phone.  There are two types of BREW charges.  A one-time charge and subscription.  A one-time charge could be for a ringtone or graphic and will only show up on your bill once.   A subscription charge will appear on your bill each month and could be for a game or other application.
